Free image downloading from the www.museodelprado.es website is authorized in the following cases:

Personal or private use
Scientific, academic, research, private study or for internal circulation within a formal educational organisation (such as a school, college or university) with no commercial distribution
Non-profit publications, personal websites, blogs, and social media
Self-publishing for cases where the author finances the costs of publication by an academic publisher with no print run limit and by dissemination publishers up to a maximum print run of 500 copies.

The transfer of reproduction rights of images from the Museo Nacional del Prado Image Bank is intended for Humanities projects in which the scholar/professor/student is personally responsible for paying reproduction fees, and may not be made available to commercial organizations/publishers.

The image must always be accompanied by the following copyright:

Solicitud de Imágenes de mayor tamaño/resolución

La preparación del archivo a mayor resolución /tamaño para investigación o consulta (no para fines comerciales, públicos o editoriales), el coste de preparación del archivo es de 65 €+IVA por imagen.

Para poder solicitarla y hacer el pago, debe enviar el formulario cumplimentado y firmado.
